Housing Class Tunnel
Housing Description Sensor in Tunnel 22m directly below free surface, 24m from nearest entrance. Tunnel drilled in a hill of rock in the Jura mountain. It is an abandoned military bunker with lots of tunnels. BB and EPI sensor placed on a concrete ground sitting on rock.BB sensor stays on a granite plate. EPI sensor installed 1m east of the BB sensor, directly on the concrete ground.

Site Characterization

channel group
Empirical Amplification
CH.BOURR..HG not available
CH.BOURR..HH not available

Obtained from spectral modeling of small earthquakes with constant update.

  • Top: Fourier amplification with elastic (dashed line) and anelastic (solid line) amplification functions;
  • Centre: 5% damped response spectra amplification (anelastic);
  • Bottom: Number of recordings used.
